09/08/2009 - We got our pictures back and everything with the wedding is officially over. We had a couple nice prints made and picked up our canvas print and photo album. The pictures are on our Picasa page, here's the link. We were very happy with her and I think a lot of other people must have been too, because she been pretty busy since the wedding. Colleen, if you ever read this, great work and we would definately recommend you, if we had any friends in Omaha that weren't married :).

08/19/2009 - The webpage is starting to look drastically different (to me atleast) with cleaning up the before wedding stuff and adding the post wedding stuff. A lot of things look blank and I feel like I went back a step or 2, but once the pictures start showing up, it will clean up nicely. A couple major updates to note, the slideshows from the reception are up in a couple places and the updates are split into a couple pages they are still there, if you want to read them, click on the link at the bottom of this page. Speaking of updates, I have 1 surprise update coming that I think is going to be awesome. So check back often, even though the wedding is over. :)

08/17/2009 - Today I went through all the facebook pictures and tagged everyone included so that they knew they were out there. Thanks to everyone that has uploaded theirs. For those of you that haven't, upload them somewhere, or send them to us, even if you only have a couple. I have this awesome idea to do with everyone's pictures, so we don't even care if we're in them, just send us what you have. Thanks!

08/16/2009 - We're back! The honeymoon was great, we're starting to catch up on the real world. I'm rushing to get all the pictures out.

08/10/2009 - As it's now 3 hours until I have to get up for the flight, I'm going to fill you in on the events after the morning of the wedding at a later date, trust me. But it was AMAZING, we love everyone that made it what it was, and I wouldn't have changed a thing. I cried more than I ever have and danced my butt off. Defintately a day to remember, forever. Trust me in the next couple weeks, there will be a ton of pictures, updates, and stories we haven't talked about yet that we're excited to share. Thanks to everyone and send me those pictures!

08/07/2009 - Guys got up to golf at 8:30, the girls got started on their process of looking gorgeous. Hair appointments were a little rough but things worked out well. I had to wait for the late comers to golf with, which meant I got stuck with the guys that didn't even have their own clubs. :) I didn't play very well either, but I can blame the pressure from it being the big day. Andy's back had to be sore from carrying the team. I would guess our 4-some got beat by atleast a dozen strokes, but it was fun, we even played in a group of 8 for half the holes.

- After golf it was time to get ready, this is probably the one thing I struggled with for the day. After cleaning up, I forgot to pick up the CD I had burned for the trolly, I forgot to put on my new watch that Amy had given me as a gift (it is AWESOME by the way). And I forgot 1 of the 2 memory cards that we ordered for the video camera. Which now that it's over, I can say none of those were really a big deal. I had to rush my hair, and didn't have much time to get ready. That's when I new the day was going to fly by and I needed to savor whatever I could.

...

08/07/2009 - The day started off with a few meetings for Amy, that my mom and sister joined in on. Brant got his har cut, my dad made it into town and things were starting to get going. We went to try on and pick up our tuxes. We just hung out there from about 2:30 to 5:00. Only minor problem, was a reorder of Bart's jacket. It had to be bigger from what it was a month ago at his wedding, he must be letting himself go :). The other minor thing, which worked out well, was Toby wore the extra jacket that they had ordered for me. Then off to the rehearsal.

- The rehearsal was pretty smooth. Everyone made it and met everyone else, then Amy and I had to do introductions, that was fun we were getting nervous in front of about 30 of our family members and best friends, i wonder how the wedding was going to be. Once we got some timing and got organized, Tyler did a brief run of the music, and everyone was just amazed. It was so awesome!

- Next the rehearsal dinner. McKenna's was ready and the place looked nice from Amy's earlier visit. I gave a brief intro, said hello and we got started eating. The food was awesome as always and everybody thought it was great. We guessed pretty good on the meat, then they sent the leftover sides home with us.

- After dinner the guys and gals split up and my crew ended up at DJ's Dugout for their dualing pianos. I got pulled up on stage with my tux t-shirt to be ridiculed, but it was a good time.

08/06/2009 - With family in town we went to the Zoo. It was a nice, hot day and was good to enjoy the day a little with our guests. We even saw our photographer, Colleen, there. As far as wedding planning goes, we had our last big "meeting". I met and talked with the DJ, Ben Oliver, from Complete Music. We had a quick chat about what the special dances were going to be, then special music that we were wanting to hear. It went real smooth and he gave me enough confidence that things were going to go well.

08/05/2009 - We sat aside tonight as our last date as an unmarried couple. We went to a nice dinner at La Mesa, had a couple celebratory Margaritas. Even though our order was messed up a little, it didn't matter, we were just happy to be together and alone for one last night.

08/04/2009 - Today we're going to check out the tux. I'll try it on to see if any adjustments need made, I think it will fit well. I lost some weight after the first time I was measured and I'm real similar in size to the second time I got measured. I guess we'll see. We got the tuxes from Bridal Traditions in Omaha, which is the same place Amy got her dress. The tuxes are black with a black pin stripe in them, then my vest is ivory, like Amy's dress. Then the groomsmen will have watermelon vests & ties. Then our dads will have black vests. So each is a little different. I even got my haircut for this week, so I may not look that bad after all.

08/03/2009 - We met with Colleen, our photographer and it went really well. She had all of the same ideas we did and we're really excited to have her. Since we didn't do our engagement pictures with her, it was a good chance to sit down and get to know her better and for her to get to know us. We drew out an outline for the day and even used her experience to help us plan. I'm sure she will be a lot of fun and I hope she enjoys our day as well. She even made a comment about meeting us on Twitter afterwards. If you're interested in checking out her work or finding out more about her, here is a link to her website & blog.
